This is a really unique electric ukulele! Having a chambered body makes it sound like a semi-acoustic, as it still has a chamber to resonate... and fun fact! If you open the back comparment (to give access to the pick-up), it acts as a sound hole, and makes it even louder! What can I say? If you're after an electric ukulele, this is the one. Beautiful aesthetically, wonderful 'real' ukulele tone.
 
Pono's tenors are well known for their awesome playability; and customisable action. Very few ukuleles have a truss rod (a rod that runs through the neck that can be tightened or loosened with a hex key; to alter the action through neck flexion).
